Data controller

What data do we process?

• Your chat messages: the messages you send to Nevai and its replies.
• Chat summary: so Nevai can remember your earlier conversations, a short summary of the older part of long chats is created (also with AI) and stored on our server. Sensitive information such as health details, passwords, ID or card numbers is left out of the summary. Clearing the chat or deleting your account also deletes the summary.
• Photos you send: sent to the AI only so it can comment on them, and not stored on our server. They are kept only on your device so you can see them again; in the chat history on our server they appear as a 📷 marker with any caption you wrote. Clearing the chat or deleting your account also deletes them from your device.
• Voice chat: when you talk, your voice is turned into text by your phone's own speech recognition (Apple's on iPhone). No audio is sent to or stored on our server; only the resulting text reaches us and the AI. Nevai's spoken replies are read aloud by your device's own text-to-speech.
• Things you teach me: answers you give with the /teach command. These are shown only to you.
• Replies you report: if you report a reply with "Report", that reply and the message you wrote right before it are saved for review.
• Device key: a randomly generated code that lets us recognize you. We don't collect your phone number or advertising ID.
• If you sign in: the name, email address and account ID that Apple or Google share with us. If you choose to hide your email with Sign in with Apple, the private relay address Apple provides is stored.
• Purchases: message packs are paid for entirely through Apple; your card and payment details never reach us. To add your messages to your account, we store the transaction ID Apple provides, the pack purchased and the date.

Why do we process it?

To chat with you, generate replies, keep your chat history and show it to you again, add purchased messages to your account, and prevent abuse of the service (for example, a daily usage limit).

AI and international transfer

Nevai's replies are generated with Claude, an AI model by Anthropic PBC (USA). To do this, your message, any photo you send, your recent messages and your chat summary (so the conversation makes sense) are sent to Anthropic's servers. This transfer happens with the explicit consent you give when you first open the app. No message is sent to the AI without your consent.

Please don't share personal or sensitive information such as ID numbers, passwords, bank details or health information in the chat.

Limits of the AI

Nevai is an AI and can make mistakes. Its answers are for general information only and are not medical, legal, financial or investment advice. Consult a professional for important decisions. It has no access to live prices, exchange rates, scores or news.

How long do we keep it?

Your chat history and the things you teach me are stored on our server until you delete them. Server backups are kept for up to 30 days; data you delete is fully removed from backups after that period.

How to delete your data

• Clear chat: one tap in the menu instantly deletes all your messages.
• Delete my account and data: one tap in the menu instantly deletes your messages, the things you taught me and your account. If you signed in with Apple, your Sign in with Apple authorization is revoked too.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), you can write to info@erbilgi.com to find out whether your data is processed, request information, ask for corrections or deletion, and exercise your other rights.

Age limit

Nevai is intended for users aged 18 and over.

Ads and tracking

Nevai shows no ads, does not track you across other apps and websites, and does not sell your data.
